More people can afford to have cars nowadays, thanks to the good economic growth resulting the shot up of GNP during the economic boom. Traffic jams are a common sight now.
MOstly happen during rush hour in the morning and after work/school or when it rains. Luckily it still happens in certain areas only, such as Orchard area, BUkit TImah, certain traffic junctions. The suburbs currently are practically free from it.
